What is happening in Queen Creek & San Tan Valley Arizona this weekend

Wow what a great weekend this has been so far and we have had such a fun time exploring and enjoying some wonderful places in Queen Creek &  San Tan Valley in Arizona. This great weather makes it even easier to get outside and soak it all in.

Last night we met our friends the Desanti's at San Tan Flats on Hunt Highway in Queen Creek www.santanflat.com This was such a fun place to go and so unique. The kids had such a great time gathering wood for the fires that they have by the tables. After enjoying their mouth watering burgers and my delicious rib eye steak they all got to roast marshmallows and then dance the night away to the live band. This was really fun for everyone and we will certainly be going back.

This is Emma Desanti teaching Pete how to roast a marshmallow!

Then for today we met our friends the Farley's for an enjoyable lunch at the Deli in Queen Creek on San Tan Blvd.

I absolutely love coming here the people the food the atmosphere are such a great combination it always makes for a great time. The Cuban sandwich is always to die for. Today I had a shrimp Cesar salad and it was fantastic nice sized shrimp and very fresh. There menu is so diverse there is something for everyone. Also don't miss trying out their sausage and red pepper pizza you will die when you bite into it. Today they had seafood pot pies and I am kicking myself for not trying it. This is a family owned business and they always make you feel at home.

Hungry people Jim Farley, Brad Farley, Pete Dijkstra & Liz Challoner...bring us the food!

Nope the eating is not over for us today next we zoomed on down the road to Riccobono's Italian Bakery in Queen Creek. They are located just right off of Ocotillo and the Old Ellsworth Rd. in Down Town Queen Creek. It is just a little place but she makes a huge impression with all of her baked goods. I use to go to her Father's Bakery 30 years ago in Mesa and was so shocked to find this wonderful Bakery and her carring on her Father's dream. The smell when you walk in the door is so intoxicating it is wonderful She makes beautiful custom cakes and mouth watering cannoli's. This is another great place that we will be visiting again and again.
